More about Me!
Hello! My name is Jayrald Ire Velasco Alda. I hope you’re having a good day while reading this brief bio about me. Knowing more about me is a treasure I can share to you. It’s not the usual skills and experiences that I’m going to highlight but what’s going on behind the camera (I’m not an actor). In a business, it’s important to highlight your professional career but it’s beneficial also to know what is the real identity behind that person.
There are 3 stages in introducing myself.
- Personal Life
- Spiritual Life
- Work Life

Personal Life
I was born and raised in Lupon, Davao Oriental. My father is a high school teacher while my mother is a housewife. We live in a church compound where my grandfather is the Pastor of the church (Camacop). I finished high school as 1st honorable mention. Yes, aside from being pogi (handsome), I also excel at school especially in sports, science & math competition, and academics.
After high school, I went to University of Mindanao in Davao City to fulfill my dreams of becoming a Civil Engineer. I knew that my parents don’t have a lot of money to support me and my eldest brother. Luckily, I got a full scholarship in UM and I don’t have to pay any tuition or miscellaneous fees. To make the long story short, I did not finish my degree reaching my 3rd year only.
Shortcut, I worked in a fast-food (Greenwich) for 1 year, then in a BPO Industry (call center). I married my long-term girlfriend and we already have 2 kids (a boy and a girl). We live happily ever after.
By the way, I love to play basketball, badminton, chess, dota2, PUBG, computer games. I’m still hopeful to continue my studies.
Spiritual Life
Many of you who read this might be saying that Jay is so corny. Yes, I am and I’m not ashamed of it. Some say that I’m a pastor’s kid therefore they always conclude that I’m holy too. NOPE, you’re wrong. Being a pastor’s kid doesn’t guarantee you a sinless life. When I went to college, I feel like I have freedom in my hands. Therefore, I tasted every vices available (not drugs). My father once called me “Robin Padilla” because of it. One of the reason I failed in school is when I disconnected from God and become self-centered.
God reaches out to me in several ways. I decided to turn back to God, surrender everything and offer myself to be used in the ministry. I have an extensive experience in musical instruments, therefore, I became a music director in our church. I helped the young people to know about the danger of being a young people. Sometimes, I teach in sunday school and preach in our church if our pastor is not available.
I decided to offer my life to Jesus Christ – my savior, healer, and coming King.
